Ionut, I have just fixed the link as well as others, I'll upload the html in a moment.
Ionut 01/03/2008 11:22
First of all "Szczęśliwego Nowego Roku" to everybody ! Second, thank you naltar for your efforts, but unfortunately the link of the map is not working. Until the next time, best wi

Ionut, the German (Romanian) 100K map of Cernauti (Blatt 4085) is available for download. Sorry for the delay.
naltar 12/30/2007 17:12
Several new, mostly German maps and city plans have been added. See "other maps" link on the left, then follow relevant links.

bkrevel, it is near-impossible task. Contact archives in Lviv, Kijev and Krakow, ref. "cadastre" (kataster / plany katastralne" in Polish).

Would anyone have or know where I could get a town map of Wojlsawice (5km NW of Sokal),circa 1900, that would show the house numbers, streets, businesses, churches, etc. I know this is a small village
naltar 12/10/2007 11:23
Ionut, German maps have been scanned, give me a couple of days to process them.

Thanks Marek. I was hoping that the number refered to a data base of inbabitants or place description.
marekz 12/04/2007 03:16
John, that number = No of households.
john 12/04/2007 00:23
Hi, On some maps there is a number shown below the name of each town/village (see P35, S41 for example). There is no explanation in the legend. What is the meaning of the number? Does it refer t

Thanks naltar. Those are really good maps and very useful also. I can't wait to see the maps from 1944. Best wishes !
naltar 10/21/2007 19:31
Ionut - look at the last two NEW K.u.K. files in the "other maps" folder. We will also have some German/Romanian 100K maps from 1944 - by the end of this year.
marekz 10/21/2007 18:16
Are you looking for a map of an area of a town plan? We have 1 x Lwow (other maps, see folder list on the left). We will have 3 - 5 more in the next 2 wks. Plus a guidebook from 1908 in English
marekz 10/17/2007 14:14
Marcus, we will have a town plan of Tarnow in the next few weeks. And a few of Breslau (for enlevin). As to Lodz... not yet.
marekz 10/17/2007 14:13
YacoL, thanks for the info , we're so lame on the subject...

pete_by: the system was called "Borowa Gora 1925" - datum similar to Potsdam-Rauenberg (DHDN): ellipsoid Bessel 1841, shifts to WGS84: 606.0,23.0,413.0. Shifts calculated by me: 624,31,420.

where can I find street map of Tarnow, Dombrava and Lodz. Marcus
marekz 09/15/2007 19:52
Ionut: it's easier to find Austrian K.u.K. maps (1:75K) of that area, LARGE libraries across Central Europe should have them.

Hello Marek. I am referring to the Ossada settlements created by Marshal Pilsudski in the Kresy after the 1920 Polish-Soviet war. I am hoping that there exists a map showing the location of these Ossa

03/02/2017 17:27
"Ossadas" is a very generic name (settlements), likewise "Kresy" which stretch from current Lithuania down to Ukraine. Anything more specific?

02/25/2017 11:49
Dzień dobry Marek. Czy Archive mają żadnych mapy przedstawiając
e lokalizację Ossadas w staropolskim Kressy (sprzed wojny)? Dziękuję, Julian.
