4 March 2011 - Karte des westlichen Russlands
We have completed work on the latest batch of the KdwR (Karte des westlichen Russlands), which cover the area of Central and Eastern Poland, as well as the Baltics, parts of Balarus and the Ukraine. We are still missing over 100 sheets (a full set is approx 480 sheets) and we will be trying to locate them. Some of the missing sheets will be available as part of joined sheets, please note, they are large files though, approx. 40 - 70 Mb.
Within a couple of days we will also add about 10 - 20 maps showing the border area between (then) Germany and Russia.
And, from now on, the KdwR sheets will be available via mapster only (with appropriate link from our sub-pages, of course. The reason is simple, it takes a lot of time to add new scans, manually, to our table, and this time can be better spent working on other maps which we will show in April.
