Through hard work of people running eastopomaps.org, we have received, from the map collection of the Library of Congress, a new set of maps from the Soviet Union:
approx. 720 sheets of a Soviet 1:25,000 map, dated 1924 - 1943
approx.. 30 sheets of a German map: Rußland 1:25 000 dated 1942 – 1942.
Some new sheets show larger towns, such as Leningrad and Kiev.
