Five new 100K high quality scans have been added. We would like to thank the person who uploaded the files.
Please note a "penalty": high image quality means larger size, in this case 13Mb - 20Mb per file.
You can download the files below or, as usual, from the Maps 1: 100 000 folder.

If you have scanned WIG map files and would like to share them with others, please send them to us. You can use any free or commercial ftp software (total commander, etc): Log on:

host: ftp.eksploracja.hostpark.pl

login: upload@eksploracja.hostpark.pl

password: upload

Please email us if there is a problem with the upload. Note: We can NOT accept map sheets which are commercial reprints published occassionally nowadays. To do so we would have to get a permission from the rightful owners first, and this is, understandably, hardly possible.

Although the site is not fully operational we have decided to pull it out of the closet, no point wasting the transfer we have paid for. We will be working on tidying up the files and adding any new ones which have appeared since the old server has closed. Later on we will add clickable index sheets and an option to upload scanned maps.
We are also going to monitor the daily transfer to see if it does not exceed limits imposed by our host.

We have begun work on the Map Archive of the Military Geographical Institute 1919 - 1939. It is a continuation of a project by www.mapywig.obluze.net.pl which, due to technical difficulties, was suspended some time ago. We very much hope to be able to to present a complete collection of WIG maps this time.

Any reason I can't get the Polish maps 1:100,000 for Miory, Dryswiaty etc? I get the 404 error instead.
